According to KGW8 News out of Oregon there is a golf course opening there in July that will offer goats as caddies. It's located at what is called the The Retreat & Links at Silvies Valley Ranch. It will be a 7 hole course called "McVeigh's Gauntlet Course" where goats trained to caddie can assist you in your day out on the course.

As a former caddie I have to say, "It's about time." I know that golfers like to treat their caddies like farm animals. Now we will see how the goats like it. If they are anything like me it will end badly.

My last day as a caddie included a golfer wearing a visor blaming his terrible play on me. He claimed his terrible swing was due to me dropping clubs into his bag during his back swing. This was not happening but it did not matter. He was going to invent something to blame his "S---" play on.

The day ended with me tossing his whole bag in a pond, swearing a bunch, leaving and never returning. You can make good money as a caddie as long as you are willing to endure being treated like a goat for hours. I was not. Good luck goats, your gonna need it. This just happens to be the perfect job for a talking goat that can take a beating.

NSFW - The piece below features seriously foul language. If you don't want to hear it don't play it.
