After graduating from Ithaca College in '73 with a Bachelor's in Communication, I put the business of radio on the back burner, and from '72 through '78, my good friend, Garry, and I formed an acoustic rock trio called Sunup. We had some memorable moments opening for Jackson Browne, the James Gang, and Jimmy Cliff. Great times, but not much cash coming in. One of my favorite highlights from my music days was being introduced to a Sunup fan who turned out to be my wife. My wife, Mindy, and I have been happily married for 44 years. We have three grown-up kids Matt, Ethan, and Allie. During our playing days, I also worked part-time on the air at a great rock station, WCMF in Rochester, NY. In February of 1979, I was hired as the new evening jock at I-95 and never left. I-95/WRKI is an exceptional radio station christened on Christmas Eve in '76, and I'm proud to say, I'm into my 42nd year at this heritage rock station, 27 of those years as the morning show host and, for the last 15 years, a member of I-95's Ethan and Lou Morning Show. I can honestly say that I have one of the best jobs in the world. Every day for four hours, Lou and I do our very best to make our listeners smile and maybe even laugh enough to nase their coffee on the way to work. Hosting the i95 Morning Show is like playing in a big boy sandbox, and I wouldn't change a thing.
