Danbury Police say Keith Gordon was taken into custody on September 15 following an investigation that allegedly uncovered drug activity connected to locations in both Danbury and New Milford. The case involved detectives from the Danbury Police Department’s Special Investigations Division, along with members of the Emergency Service Unit and officers and detectives from Brookfield, Bethel and New Milford. The DEA’s Bridgeport Field Office also assisted with the investigation.

Police say detectives had been investigating Gordon for several months and determined that he was allegedly selling illegal drugs from a condo at the Brookside Condo Complex on Padanaram Road in Danbury, as well as an address on Bostwick Arms in New Milford.

Things reportedly came to a head when detectives spotted Gordon driving in Danbury and allegedly observed him making a drug sale on Down Street. Gordon also had an existing arrest warrant related to an alleged violation of deadly weapon offender registry requirements.

According to police, Gordon was arrested without incident as he got out of his vehicle in the parking lot of the Brookside Condo Complex.

Detectives then carried out court-authorized searches of Gordon, his cellphone, his vehicle and both residences. Police say they recovered crack cocaine, electronic scales and packaging materials from the Danbury condo. Packaging materials and additional electronic scales were reportedly found at the New Milford location.

Gordon was brought to Danbury Police headquarters for processing. The department says the investigation was conducted with assistance from multiple local law enforcement agencies and the DEA.
