A few weeks ago, Ethan and I started sharing our different Candlewood Lake stories from the summer on the air. This one boat, which turns out to be two, came up time and again. The double decker boat. Ethan kept talking about them, and even blogged about them.

In one of Ethan's blogs, he talked about how much noise they make with their music and he suggested there be a noise ordinance on the lake. Then, he received an angry comment from a young man named Woogie. Woogie told Ethan that he could basically go pound sand if he did not like the noise. We then set out on a mission to find Woogie through the power of the radio station. Instead, Woogie and his two buddies (Both named Mike) found us.

They reached out with a gift, sending us bagels from Bagelman. We let them plead their case on the show, and my mind was changed. I was a friend to Woogie, Mike and Mike, now. I did not want to see their names dragged through the mud. Ah, who are we kidding? They have pretty girls on their boat, and sent me free bagels. I was on board after that.

I set out to find them on the lake this past weekend, but it was not meant to be. Our stars did not cross. So they, again, found me. They sent the above photo to show that they were out in force over the weekend showing no signs of giving up. They are fighting for their right to party, and for that, I tip my cap. I look forward to seeing them out there before the summer is out. I intend on drinking a lot of their beer. Safe voyages, gentleman.
