I'm always looking for great brunch places to go around Connecticut. Many restaurants offer a generic brunch menu on weekends, but some places really go all-out for their brunches. Those are the types of places that I want spend my Sundays.

I came across a reel on Instagram that caught my eye. There's a restaurant in Connecticut that not only kills it with their brunch menu, but they spin 90's music while doing so. This is a genius idea. That's one way to get the 30-year-olds to come out of hiding for a great brunch.

The restaurant is called Six Nine One and it's in Wallingford. The reel caught my eye because the food and drinks both looked phenomenal and then to get the addition of 90's music being spun on vinyl? Count me in. Here's the reel that I saw.

I don't know about you, but the food and drinks in those videos look so so good. It's a place I've never heard of before, but for it to catch my eye like that means it looked amazing. I write regularly about coffee shops, donut shops, and breakfast places that open around the state, but this one has a different feel to it.

If you're looking for a brunch for someone's birthday or you need a morning out with your friends, this might be a spot to check out. Six Nine One is located at 23 S Colony Road in Wallingford. It looks like their brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday from 11-3 but I believe the 90's brunch is on certain Sundays.

On a recent episode of the I-95 Morning Show, we reached out to our Connecticut and New York listeners, asking them to share some of their favorite childhood games. With their help, we were able to recall many of the games that defined the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Those decades were filled with a delightful mix of absurd, often violent, and absolutely joyful games.
