Police are on the look-out for a slim white male around 5-foot-10-inches with a backpack and wearing a hoodie.

So far, the suspect has forced his way into eight different businesses between New Milford and Washington and according to the various business owners, it appears his focus is strictly on stealing cash from the registers.

New Milford Police report that the break-ins are similar to the robbery at the Kimberly Farmstand on Route 109 in New Milford that took place in the wee morning hours of January 3. Marty's Cafe in Washington was one of the businesses that was recently targeted. A Marty's employee told ctinsider.com,

We came to work and the doorway was unlocked - they were able to pry it open - and the cash register was empty.

If you travel Route 202 and/or Route 109 during the late-night hours, keep your eyes open for a 5-foot-10 male suspect who's on-foot possibly wearing a hoodie and a backpack.
