L Restaurant in Middlebury is Outstanding

I have a new local favorite, L Restaurant in Middlebury

That photo above is L's incredible dessert, 7 Layer Cheesecake. Oh my stars! So much flavor in so many ways. And yes, that's a birthday candle on top. It was my anniversary last night, and I took Mrs. Large out for a fine dinner.

What a great choice! L Restaurant starts off your meal with a delicious cold pasta side. It contained Bowtie pasta with capers, red pepper flake, carrots, cream and a bunch of other ingredients, absolutely delicious.

Warm, homemade bread followed, also yum. She chose the Spinach Fettuccine with Shrimp, Scallops, and Clams. I chose the Linguine with Clams in White Sauce. Both were perfect! Then...the desert. Whew...amazing.

L Restaurant is a dining destination to put on your food map. Superior ambiance, service, cuisine, and location. It is definitely a hidden gem, it's located at the end of the old Timex building on Park Road Extension.

We were gushing about the experience as we loosened our belts on the ride home. If you have a discerning palate, I highly recommend L Restaurant.
