And so far, I'm impressed!

I'm a huge fan of Machine Zone's Game of War: Fire Age. I've been playing since Christmas of last year, but many players have disappeared recently. In their goodbye statements, they've mentioned they were quitting to play this newer game Tap4Fun's Invasion .

Many online gamers have grown tired of Machine Zone's price gouging. These online games can get very expensive, very quickly. Major players spend tens of thousands of dollars to dominate. Tap4Fun seems to be hyper-aware of Machine Zone's failures, and Invasion is their answer

Here's a couple of screenshots of Invasion

Just like Game of War, Invasion starts you off with a small army base, and you must build it up. You can add resource facilities, offenses and defenses. Then, you start attacking other players on other teams around your world. Game play seems simple, but it is very intricate, attention to detail is important.

Tap4Fun has kept the price for speed-up's a little bit cheaper than Machine Zone. Yes, you still have to grow in power relatively slowly, but you can pay to speed up the process. I am in a guild called OR* - The Order in Zone 18 - Prescott. My teammate is XxCtessexX, and she is one of the biggest, best players in both Invasion, and also Game of War. I'm very lucky to be her teammate, and you are very unlucky that she is MY teammate!

I've only been playing Invasion for a couple of weeks now, but my early impression is: a cheaper, less-intensive, just as fun online game compared to GOW. If you're sick of being gouged by Machine Zone, download Invasion.
