This was Sunday night at the Milano house and it was a weird crew.  A good one but weird.

From left to right you got my neighbor Al, my father in law Miguel, my wife Erica, my cousin Emma and her boyfriend Jesse.  Just a little background Al is crazy and we love him.  I cannot understand a word my father in law says between his accent and the fact that I'm half deaf and he whispers.  Erica is awesome.  Emma is crazy and Jesse talks 100 miles per hour.  We invited Emma and Jesse over for tacos and Sunday football and the rest just showed up which is just fine by us we always have too much food.

The reason I had to stop and take a picture was because I was sitting there looking around this room of people thinking how lucky I am to have them all in my life.  The fact is 3 years ago I did not know any of them except my cousin Emma.  It's amazing how quickly life changes and the most unexpected people end up being the most important people in your life.

It was really a good time and tacos got demolished but you cannot get a group of people like this together and NOT have something crazy go down.  Just hours before this photo I was chasing a stranger who was trying to steal things out of my car down the road.  It made for good discussion the rest of the night and also allowed us the opportunity to have one more guest over.  An officer from the New Milford Police Department got to see a few minutes of the Patriots game while I filled out a police report.  Ah..the spirit of the season.
