Congrats, Hartford! You Are Connecticut’s Most Dangerous City
According to the FBI Uniform Crime Report via the News Times, Hartford, CT is the most dangerous city in the state. The criteria used was the number of violent crimes per 100,000 people. Hartford had 1,400 plus crimes reported from the most recently available data, which was from 2015.
To be fair, many of the most dangerous cities on the list from around the country ended up being the most populous city in the state. However, if I had to wager a guess, I would have gone with Bridgeport all day. So congrats, Bridgeport, you dodged a bullet on that one. You see what I did there? Dodged a bullet?
I will have to ask Danbury's Mayor, Mark Boughton, what his plans are for Hartford, CT when he becomes Governor of the State. I will do that this Thursday, when he joins us on the Ethan and Lou Show. I am sure he will have a cheeky answer.
