Lucky Gilmore Girls fans got a free cup of coffee in a cool piece of memorabilia today in Connecticut.

For five hours this morning, Metro Cafe and Peter B's Espresso in Hartford were transformed into Luke's Diner, a central location prominently featured on the series.

We sent our road crew members Johnathan and Santa up to the capitol city to snap some pictures, and, more importantly, get a free cup of coffee in the cool cups that they were giving out.

People were lined up around the store to grab one of these things! Lots of people were taking selfies in front of the Luke's sign, and it looks like Metro Cafe got a nice boost in business. Check out the gallery.

The Netflix original series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premieres at 12:01AM on November 25, and consists of 4 ninety minute episodes. So ladies AND gentlemen Gilmore fans, on Thanksgiving day eat the turkey, but instead of going late night Black Friday shopping, settle in for 6 hours of bliss. Kirk rules!
