Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton

I had two individuals reach out to me recently about the issue and they did so, independently.

Danbury City Councilman Roberto Alves will run for the office of Mayor of Danbury, CT in 2021. Alves made the official announcement on the Ethan and Lou morning Thursday (1/7/20).

We asked the Mayor how long he's known he would take the State job and leave his Danbury position, he had this to say:

Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton is about to be offered a position with Governor Ned Lamont and the State of CT. It looks like our Mayor will become the next State Tax Commissioner.

Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton has thrown his support behind a plan to install a monolith in the Hat City as proposed by the Ethan and Lou Morning Show.

Where can you vote? How long will it take? What can't you do?

Boughton on what Phase 3 can mean for restaurant owners: "I think this will help though because we are going to let them keep whatever outdoor facility they've created, the tent, whatever, at least in the short term they are going to be able to keep those up. So, between that and the 75% indoors you might get to having 100% of your tables."

Boughton: "I've heard, we've been notified to expect a vaccine in the next couple of months. So, I think they are very, very close to deploying a vaccine."
