The massive Eastern States Exhibition Fairgrounds is very close to the Connecticut/Massachusetts border in West Springfield, Mass. The main attraction at this location is obviously The Big E, which is taking place in less than three months, from September 15 - October 1, 2023.

Events happen at the fairgrounds year-round. This weekend, June 23-25, 2023, a big 3-on-3 basketball tournament called Hooplandia, which is billed as 'The largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament and celebration on the East Coast' will take place on 70 courts at the Eastern States Exposition fairgrounds. In case you didn't know, Springfield is the birthplace of basketball, which is why the nearby Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame's 'Court of Dreams' will play host to some of Hooplandia's showcase games.

That's the event, so if you're a basketball fan, and you love Big E food, get up there this weekend, because The Big E just announced on their social media that they've lined up some of your favorite food trucks will be serving up some of our favorites during Hooplandia, including the Craz-E Burger. The Craz-E Burger is a bacon cheeseburger served not on a bun, but a glazed donut. Poppies Onion Rings, White Hut, The Dog House, Lattitude Restaurant, Storrowton Tavern, and North Elm Butcher Block are among some of the other food vendors that have been announced.
