Danbury Hockey Fans Cheer Champion Hat Tricks Team on City Green
Last week, the Danbury Hat Tricks topped the Carolina Thunderbirds in 5 games to capture the Commissioners Cup in the FPHL.
They join the Danbury Westerners, Glover Teixeira, and Alex Pereira who've all been crowned champions in the past 18 months, and winning it all culminates in a celebration. For the Hat Tricks, that party took place on Sunday (5/21/23) in the streets of the Hat City.
The Rabbits, their coaches and team personnel snaked their way through the city beginning at City Hall and ending at the Danbury green. The team took to the stage of the bandshell and delivered speeches to their fans from the podium. These are some of the highlights of the day.

On behalf of I-95 and Townsquare Media, congratulations to the Danbury Hat Tricks organization on their victory.
These guys laid out for each other and it's obvious they're pals.
These fellas played their hearts out all season and left it all on the ice.
We tracked this championship run from the beginning of the season right to it's apex. The final call of the season turned out to be the best by far.
The coach and Team President got us so fired up with their words of inspiration.
