Police: 3 Danbury Men Arrested on Heroin and Cocaine Charges

Danbury Police say that after receiving several complaints from neighbors, a weeks-long investigation ended on Tuesday morning with the arrest of three Danbury men who now face several drug-related charges.

At about 10:00am on April 24, 2018, the Special Investigations and Patrol Divisions of the Danbury Police Department approached a car parked in a private parking lot and found 32-year-old Saul Mejias and 31-year-old Roman Mota-Alvarez allegedly involved in a drug transaction. Mejias and Mota-Alvarez were arrested and investigators obtained a search warrant for Mejias' South Street home.

Police say that when they entered the home they found several people there, including 43-year-old Felix Cordova-Molina. Investigators searched the residence and say that Cordova-Molina allegedly had a substantial amount of heroin and cocaine which they believe was packaged for sale. He was arrested at the scene. Investigators also allegedly found more than $2,000 in cash, drug packaging and a digital scale.

Saul Mejias has 8 drug related charges against him and Felix Cordova-Molina is facing 6 charges. Both Mejias and Cordova-Molina are being held on $50,000 bond each. Roman Mota-Alvarez has 2 drug charges against him and is being held on $5,000 bond.
