When you think of the most beautiful streets in the WORLD, there are so many different possibilities. When I think of streets, I'm thinking the Amalfi Coast in Italy, Greece, France, pretty much a bunch of different parts of Europe.

I would definitely give the U.S a few shout outs, there are parts of our country that are truthfully breathtaking. But what I didn't expect is that one of the most beautiful streets in the world is not too far from our home right here in Connecticut.

Architectural Digest came out with a list of The 71 Most Beautiful Streets in the World and I was instantly fascinated. I love to travel and I love seeing all different places, so something like this completely fascinates me. As I was scrolling, the 5th most beautiful street in the entire world is right in our backyard.

Brooklyn, New York was on the top of this list. The street that was highlighted was the cobblestone street in Brooklyn's Dumbo neighborhood. The intersection of Washington and Water Street was talked about due to the beauty of the longest bridge that connects Manhattan and Brooklyn. Between the buildings on both sides of the street and the bridge in the middle, that is how it got its spot as 5th on the list.

This list fascinates me and gives me even more of an itch to travel. It really does blow my mind that Brooklyn made it above Paris, Mykonos, Buenos Aires, and so many more, but I think this puts into perspective of how iconic New York is and how much we take it for granted since we're so close.

A few others in the U.S. to make the list were Boston, Manhattan, Charleston, San Francisco and Chicago. You can view the entire list here.

Do you agree that Brooklyn should be number 5? I'd love to know your thoughts.
