Parents in New Milford Hiring Lawyers Regarding School Walkout
A certain group of parents whose children are New Milford High School students are reportedly angry with school officials over the recent school walkout.
Why are the parents upset? According to a story at news12.com website, officials gave the students permission to walkout of class on Wednesday, March 14 to protest gun violence and parents are voicing their concerns that school officials may have broken the law by letting them do so. Also, for what it's worth, an article at breitbart.com says New Milford parents are considering hiring lawyers to look into:
Adherence to law and policy, the manipulation of minors, the misuse of tax dollars, and indoctrination and political activism during school hours.
Attorney Deborah Stevenson sent a letter to New Milford school officials asking them to shut down the walk. One New Milford attorney said that it was only about students wanting to end gun violence and school officials said that there was nothing wrong with that.
As of now no lawsuits have been filed. If you were a parent of a New Milford high school student how would you handle this situation?
