Danbury Woman Arrested With Ecstasy in Putnam County, Police Say
According to Hudson Valley Post, New York State Police arrested Taniqua D. Scott of Danbury on Saturday and charged her with drug possession.
She was pulled over on Route 6 in Putnam County, NY for not staying in her lane, according to authorities. The Troopers then tossed her vehicle, and allegedly found ecstasy, Tylenol with codeine, and marijuana.
Scott has been charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and a violation for unlawful possession of a marijuana. She is being held on bond in the Putnam County Jail and will have her date in Southeast Court on April 11.
Ecstasy possession? Did someone invent a time machine? That takes me back.
Was she swinging glow sticks in the dark and listening to "Set U Free" by Planet Soul, too? Didn't Harry Truman have an ecstasy problem? I thought today's kids turned "X" into "Molly" and roll on EDM?
Who's to say?
What I do know, is that you are packing a butt load of drugs in your sedan and rolling from Danbury into Brewster, you might want to keep your four tires in your own lane. That, or pull into the On the Border liquor store parking lot and send your text. That way, the cops won't see you swerving, blast the siren, and arrest you for possessing drugs from the Mesozoic era.
