Spencer Boyd is the driver of the #20 American Pavement Specialists truck in the Camping World Truck Series. How did a Danbury, CT company find their way to the pits of NASCAR during the biggest racing weekend of the year?

The answer is simple, the words "Raised on Blacktop" brought Spencer to APS. Boyd saw the words etched in the merchandise sold by American Pavement Specialists through their social media accounts.

Just a few clicks later and Bill Stanley and APS were in serious talks to sponsor the driver. Last year APS took a shot on Spencer and sponsored him for the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, this year they came back for more. Stanley and American  Pavement Specialists decided to sponsor the truck for the biggest race of the year, Daytona.

We've been having Spencer on the Ethan and Lou Show quite a lot since his relationship began with APS. I texted Matt Stanley (Bill's son) and Spencer while they were in Daytona and told them to send along as many pictures and videos as possible.

They started sending photos/videos on Thursday (2/11/21), the day before the truck race. This was Spencer attempting to get the name of the radio station right. Appreciate it bud, I thought I could count on you to get it right after our last interview.

Why would I think a NASCAR driver would know what the station is or who we are? Maybe it's because he was shouting my slogan "Florida You Say" just hours earlier on the Ethan and Lou Show.
