Corporal Kevin Brooks Retires After Forty Plus Years With the Brookfield PD
Kevin Brooks has been a member of the Brookfield Police Department for 43 years.
That is all over now and the Corporal will be transitioning into retirement. Last week (08/10/23) the Brookfield Police Department announced Corporal Brooks retirement on their Facebook page, saying:
Congratulations, Corporal Kevin Brooks!
Today, August 10, 2023, after an honorable 43 year career, Corporal Kevin Brooks worked his last patrol shift and has officially retired from the Brookfield Police Department. Cpl. Kevin Brooks badge #308 began his career in the Patrol Division in August of 1980. During his 43 years of exemplary service, Cpl. Brooks received numerous awards, citations, and letters of commendation. Cpl. Brooks served the Department as a supervisor, field training officer (FTO), and was a member of the accident reconstruction team. Congratulations and enjoy your well-deserved retirement.
I wanted to take the opportunity to personally thank Corporal Brooks for his many years of service. I've been working in Brookfield for over two decades and I've always felt safe and secure under the protection of the Brookfield PD and we've needed them a few times.
Coporal Brooks also happens to be my favorite Brookfield Law enforcement officer for his loyalty to I-95 and my dumb show.
Thank you sir for everything you've done for the community in your four decades with the P.D. I hope you'll still stop by to see me when I'm doing something stupid on the side of the road at 7 am.
Enjoy retirement Corporal, you deserve it.
P.S. Sorry it took me a week to get this but whoever was responsible for the Facebook tags, missed one.
