Here we go again. Another national outlet has weighed in on the never-ending debate over who makes the best pizza in Connecticut — and this time, it’s Eat This, Not That handing out the honors.

Their pick? Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in New Haven. No surprise there. According to Eat This, Not That, Pepe’s stands out not just for its legendary coal-fired ovens, but for hitting the century mark — 100 years of turning out those blistered thin-crust Tomato Pies topped with crushed Italian tomatoes, olive oil, and pecorino cheese. And of course, there’s the famous White Clam Pizza, loaded with garlicky clams, oregano, and more pecorino — a Connecticut original that somehow manages to taste like the shoreline and heaven at the same time.

It’s hard to argue with their choice. Between Pepe’s, Sally’s, and Modern, New Haven has long been a pizza pilgrimage site. But honestly? Enough already.
