New Jazz-Themed Graffiti on Connecticut’s I-84 Has Drivers Talking
Connecticut has jazz themed graffiti on I-84?

That's what some are saying on Connecticut Reddit, one user that goes by fondofhats wrote:
Hello! I work with a student publication in central CT, and we’re looking to cover interesting local stories. On the expanse of I-84 West right after the interchange with 91 in Hartford, I’ve noticed a string of jazz-related graffiti. In white paint, someone has written “Bud Powell” and “Jackie Mclean” (Hartford’s own) on overpasses approaching and passing the city. A bit farther west, someone has written “Bird Lives,” and then finally—and this is recent—there’s a treble clef and staff with a bar of rest and a hold symbol over it.
I pass these names every day and am thrilled that someone took the time and the risk to paint jazz legends’ names on that awful stretch of highway. I would love to find this artist and interview them (anonymously), for a small feature in a student publication. Any info (or maybe this person is on Reddit) would be helpful! Feel free to dm me.
This caught my attention because, in my mind, jazz and graffiti don’t exactly go together. It made me wonder if the biker I saw last weekend might be connected somehow. I was leaving a youth football game in Danbury when a biker rolled through the parking lot, blasting smooth jazz at full volume. I managed to grab a quick recording on my phone and brought it to the I-95 Morning Show.

We played the clip, and everyone went wild over this and trying to figure out who did the song. Check this out and let me know if you think these two stories could be related.
