A brand-new study from Safe Wise just dropped its annual safety report for 2025, ranking the safest cities in Connecticut. While crime rates have been trending up in the state overall, there’s good news in these 10 towns: most of them saw a decline in violent crime! That said, property crime is creeping up in some of these areas.

What are the safest towns in Connecticut?

Here’s the deal bro: Ridgefield, for the third year running, is Connecticut’s safest town. The rest of the top 10 also made repeat appearances on the list, so they’re doing something right. Even though violent crime is dropping in these places, property crime seems to be on the rise, but locals are still feeling pretty safe overall.

Now, here’s the list of the Top 10 Safest Towns in Connecticut for 2025:

  1. Ridgefield

  2. Wallingford

  3. Newtown

  4. Cheshire

  5. Shelton

  6. New Milford

  7. Simsbury

  8. Greenwich

  9. Westport

  10. Vernon

What am I always saying on The I-95 Morning Show? The Greater-Danbury area is the best region in the country, that is what I always say. What is hilarious about it, is you would not know we were even here if you had to rely on traditional Connecticut media. The region is ignored as much as possible until you start digging into quality-of-life issues and that is when the truth reveals itself.

The core of the Greater-Danbury area is seven town, Danbury, Brookfield, Bethel, Ridgefield, Newtown, New Milford and New Fairfield. We have three of our towns in the Top 10 safest places to live in the entire state. That is winning.  WE WIN.
