Connecticut Police Arrest Woman For Reckless Driving At 118 Mph
118 MPH on I-95? Yup, That’ll Get You Arrested
If you think Connecticut drivers go too fast already, wait until you hear this one. According to CT State Police, early Tuesday morning (around 1:20 a.m.), a state trooper in Stratford spotted a red Audi absolutely flying down I-95 south — we’re talking 118 miles per hour in a 55 zone.

That’s more than double the speed limit, and this wasn’t even on an empty back road, it was on one of the busiest highways in the state. And as if 118 (allegedly) wasn’t enough, police say the driver was tailgating and couldn’t stay in her lane. Not exactly what you want to see when you’re doing nearly 120 on I-95.
