Pre-Season Football is For the Birds
This is that time of year where you get the itch for football and no matter how well your baseball team is doing you are ready for gridiron action. It's also when they hype the season and inundate fans with promos and commercials for the upcoming season. Simple solution? You watch Pre-season games to hold you over, right?
Wrong. I mean we all do it but it's a waste. The teams best players rarely appear on the field and when they do they are JUST trying to stay healthy. Teams don't even bother game planning for these match ups. The games don't count and that is how they play out. It's an inferior product and it makes me sad.
I still try and watch, I go back like Lewis Black to a plate of candy corn.
When you are ready, you are ready and I'm ready for football that counts. Let's get going.
