After a lengthy investigation, Wilton Police announced on Thursday (April 5) that they have arrested two suspects who allegedly broke into a Wilton Gulf station on Danbury Road by shattering a glass door.

According to a press release from the Wilton Police Department, officers arrested Casey McAdams of Derby and Alicia Sheremeta of West Haven in connection with the robbery that happened back in December 2017.

During the early morning hours of December 19, Sheremetta allegedly drove McAdams to the Gulf Station with the intention to commit the burglary. Police say McAdams forced entry into the store by breaking the glass door, and once inside, allegedly took cash and cigarettes. They then reportedly left the area in Sheremetta's vehicle.

Both Sheremetta and McAdams have been charged with Burglary in Third Degree, Larceny in the 4th Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree. They also have conspiracy charges on all three counts, and are currently being held in the custody of the State of CT Department of Corrections on $50,000 bonds each.

Police are reporting that the arrests have led to the conclusion of this particular burglary investigation, and each of the two suspects are due in court later this year to answer the charges.
