If you are one of the many Newtown residents to have your property stolen in the series of recent thefts, the police department is giving you the opportunity to view the recovered goods.

According to a press release from the Newtown Police Department, a large number of items were seized from the two juveniles that were arrested following the theft of two cars on November 13.

Police say that the items were seized either from the teens themselves or from the vehicles that had been stolen. Here is a list of Newtown roads that the items are believed to have been taken from, but it is possible that other areas of the town may have also been affected:

  • Baldwin Rd.
  • Juniper Rd.
  • Oak Ridge Rd.
  • Edmond Rd.
  • Sugar St.
  • Sleepy Hollow Rd.
  • Lincoln Rd.
  • Oakview Rd.
  • Turkey Hill Rd.
  • Elm Dr.
  • Adams Hill Rd.
  • Black Walnut Dr.
  • Mile Hill Rd.
  • Nearbrook Dr.

If you have been the victim of these thefts between November 10 and November 13 and you wish to view the seized property, you can go to the Newtown Police Department at the following times:

  • Saturday, December 2, from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
  • Monday, December 4, from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
  • Wednesday, December 6, from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
