Back in October, there was a competition in which local residents were asked to vote for the Best High School Marching Band in Greater Danbury. After an epic battle of local schools, the New Milford Green Wave Marching Band topped all the rest to capture the title.

During the contest, over 180,000 votes were cast for local Greater Danbury High School Marching Bands and the New Milford Green Wave received close to 88,000 of those votes to win the title.

Here's a video of the trophy presentation and some brief interviews of some band members to see what they had to say just before they headed off to Los Angeles to march in the Hollywood Christmas Parade, which will on television on Friday (December 15) on the CW. The two-hour special will be rebroadcast on the Hallmark Channel.
