Every Tuesday morning, we feature an adoptable Dog or Cat from the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford.

Since we only do our "Pet of the Week" segment once a week, there are many dogs that haven't been able to visit us here in the studio. So today, we're spotlighting some of those you may not have seen yet, who are looking for forever homes.

    Marble

Marble is a little 8 year old Schnauzer/poodle who is lively, playful and full of the joys of life. He absolutely loves playing with his squeaky toys and loves to play ball, though he does not quite understand the concept of bringing the ball back to you. He needs owners who will not put up with bad behavior but set some boundaries and make sure he sticks to them!

    Shelby

Shelby was a mother of 4 boisterous outgoing puppies, she however is very shy indeed. She seems like a really sweet-natured dog who will need a calm and understanding home where she can come out of her shell and be a normal dog. She needs a home with another dog and a fenced in yard.

    Elmer

Elmer is a sweet boy who was dealt a poor hand. We have put some weight on him because this poor baby was just skin and bones! He will need obedience training, as he was never taught any proper manners. Unfortunately, Elmer cannot be placed in a home with cats or smaller sized dogs, as he does not understand that they are not toys. He truly is just a big baby, he nurses on his blanket every day. Elmer is basically a puppy at heart and would like a home with someone who can give him the training and loving he needs!
