Although we are only days away from Halloween, the Christmas and Holiday shows, commercials, and decorations are already coming out. Mohegan Sun has just announced that their third annual tree lighting will take place on the beautiful Sun Patio on Sunday, December 7, and the party will feature a special appearance from Earth, Wind & Fire's Phillip Bailey and Ralph Johnson.

Mohegan Sun welcomed Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at their first tree lighting ceremony, and the incredible singer Andrea Bocelli at last year's event. This year Mohegan Sun has booked an appropriately-named legendary group to play their big holiday event, Earth, Wind & Fire, who will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena after the tree lighting.

If listening to classic hits like 'September', 'Shining Star', 'Let's Groove', ;After the Love Has Gone', and my personal Phillip Bailey favorite - 'Easy Lover' (Miss you Phil Collins), then you might want to go back to Mohegan Sun on Friday, December 12. Mohegan will host their first ever SantaCon, where everyone who really enjoys dressing up as the Big Guy can gather for a group photo at 9PM below the Sun Patio tree. There will be special SantaCon menus and goodies at participating restaurants. Let's groove tonight, Ho-Ho-Ho.
