For those still without power, the Brookfield Police Department announced that the Duracell Power Forward Disaster Relief Heavy Hauler is currently set up in the Raymour & Flanigan parking lot at Federal Road and White Turkey Road in Brookfield.

The Duracell Power Forward program has been in existence since 2011, and has helped over 34,000 families across the country in times of need. The trick distributes free batteries, internet access and device charging so that people without power can contact their families. According to Duracell's website, nearly half a million batteries have been distributed over the life of the program. The Heavy Hauler is housed in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and can carry a trailer that contains over 100,000 batteries.

The truck will be on location until at least noon today (May 21) or longer if needed.
