According to White House sources, President Trump has declared the state of Connecticut a disaster relief area due to the macrobursts and tornadoes that struck the state on May 15th. He has ordered Federal assistance to supplement state and local recovery efforts.
FEMA, The Federal Emergency Management Agency, toured Brookfield on Monday to assess the damage from the May 15th storm. Brookfield was one of the hardest hit area's in the entire state.
