The Department of Transportation continues the scheduled roadwork to spruce up the highways in Connecticut. If you travel on Interstate 84 near Newtown after 8:00pm, there are closures that you need to know about.

Patch.com reports that The Connecticut Department of Transportation will have crews  working overnight tonight and tomorrow at exit 11 of Interstate 84 in Newtown. Both on ramps and off ramps at Wasserman Way and Mile Hill are scheduled for some much needed resurfacing and will be closed from 8:00pm to 5:00am tonight (August 28).

The road work and the closures will continue tomorrow night (August 29). The off ramps will be reopened but the crews will shut down entry ramps of exit 11 as they finish paving the on ramps. They which will be again from 8:00pm Wednesday to 5:00am Thursday morning.
