Seven Stars Cloud Group Incorporated is said to be brining 330 new jobs to West Hartford, Connecticut. Seven Stars Cloud Group which is publicly traded on the Nasdaq, will reportedly take over parts of Uconn’s former West Hartford campus according to PR News Wire.

Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy said:

Thanks to our best-in-the-nation workforce, high-quality education system, and forward-looking vision, Connecticut has the potential to be a hub for investment in fintech and other high-tech industries

It sure looks like this is a step in the right direction, as the location will turn into a research training and development hub. Artificial intelligence, digital finance solutions and block chain technology is what the company specializes in. Blockchain is what powers bitcoin, and other crypto currencies, and the rumor is that this venture could make Hartford the blockchain capitol of the United States. The project will cost the company $283 million over the next five years.
