Danbury Police Looking For Suspects + Motive In Saturday Shooting
Danbury Police are investigating a shooting in the city Saturday night and they are asking for the publics help if they have any information.
Danbury Police are reporting a shooting in the city on Saturday night that left two people injured, now a full investigation is underway as the department looks for clues to piece things together.
According to Police, officers responded to a call of shots ringing out in the area of Rose Hill Avenue and Ann Drive. Apparently, according to Danbury Police two people had been shot at around 8:55 PM Saturday night.
Police have issued a press release stating that officers who responded to the call found two men shot at the scene and both men were taken to Danbury Hospital.
One of the victims, a man in his 60's was listed in critical condition at the hospital, the other man, in his 30's, was listed in fair condition.
As of Monday morning, there have been no suspects identified in the shooting, and police are working to put together some sort of motive. Right now it seems to be an isolated incident. Police are hoping to learn more with the help of people who either knew the victims, or were in the area when the shooting occurred.
