I usually try to avoid turning to YouTube when I’m looking for stories or content for the I-95 Morning Show. The main reason is simple: it’s way too easy to fall into a never-ending rabbit hole that I can’t escape from.

It all starts innocently enough—I’ll find a video that catches my eye, something that sparks an idea or helps shape a story. Then that video leads to another, and another. Before I know it, I’m twenty videos deep. That’s exactly what happened the other day when I set out to find Connecticut’s most shocking videos.

What I quickly realized is that there are so many jaw-dropping moments out there, it would probably take months just to narrow down the top ten. But to my surprise, I managed to find ten incredible videos without needing to do a whole lot of comparison. This makes me think there’s a lot more juice out there, should I decide to squeeze again.

These ten videos come from different time periods and cities across Connecticut, and while each one is unique, they all have one thing in common: you won’t be able to look away.

The fun part is how I came to find these videos. It did not start with a generic search like "Connecticut's most shocking videos." The next time we run into each other in public, make a point to ask what my secret search was.

Youtube Video Proves There is More Nightlife in Danbury Than I Thought

I'm at Hat City resident and have been for the last six years, and last year we moved from the Germantown Road area to Downtown Danbury. My wife and I can, and do walk to dinner at places like Pippa's, Empire of the Incas and Two Steps but when dinner is over, sometimes we want to stay out, get some drinks and dance but haven't found a lot of options. Maybe I wasn't looking closely enough or I was overlooking some existing options. I found a new video on Youtube that suggests I am missing something. I know there are some Spanish spots downtown that I've been curious about but never visited and now this video confirms that I need to take a closer look.
