It makes my heart smile to continually read about the kindness and the giving being shown by individuals, companies, and organizations in the greater Danbury area.

According to Hearst Connecticut Media, a global industrial gases and engineering company called Linde has given $5,000 to Danbury, and the RobyDodd Family Charitable Foundation has donated $6,000 to help feed those in need during this unprecedented time.

The $11,000 gift will go to the New American Dream Foundation, which will provide 2,200 hot meals for families and individuals affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Hundreds of meals have already been handed out by this remarkable foundation. This Saturday, May 2, from 10 to 11:30 am, meals will be dispensed at Morris Street School, Park Avenue School, and the Early Learning Center on Cottage Street.
