You heard the grumblings from a few news outlets back in August and September that Connecticut's drought could possibly lead to a pretty stank fall foliage season.

Oh, no! The lack of leaf-peepers could destroy the Autumnal surge of commerce! Don't worry, Connecticut's explosion of color is very much in progress.

With temperatures reaching almost 80 degrees today, the leaves have a couple extra weeks than usual before they wither and clog your precious gutters. We sent our drone up over the gorgeous open stretch of land at Happy Landings on RT. 25, and also over Brookfield to get a good look at our little stretch of the Berkshire foothills.

We captured incredible shots of the leaves changing in our little part of the world, and we even caught a couple of workers installing a banner on top of the church at the intersection of Routes 25 and 133.

We hope you enjoy this cool video capturing the world-famous fall foliage that Connecticut is known for -- what do you think?
