If you're a college student at a Connecticut State University, you can forget about your spring break plans. The week between March 15 through Sunday, March 21 has been canceled because of the pandemic.

The following schools affected include Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Western CT State University in Danbury, Eastern CT State University in Willimantic, and Southern CT State University in New Haven.

Why has the governing board for the four state universities decided to take this action? It's the pandemic of course. The board has decided to postpone the start of the spring 2021 semester by one week. The spring semester will begin on January 26 and will wrap up on May 16.
