Can there somehow be a deep seeded meaning to witnessing a rainbow?

Late Thursday afternoon the skies began to cloud over and it looked like a storm was getting ready to hit New Fairfield. Since I hadn't covered our pontoon boat the night before, I rushed down to the docks at the Town Park and got down to work snapping down the boat covers as it got windier while the skies grew darker.

All of a sudden it tried to rain but the skies only managed a slight drizzle and I noticed the sun trying to break out. I don't know why, but I turned around as I snapped down the last boat cover and couldn't believe what I was looking at.

Rainbows are a beautiful phenomenon that bears significance across different religions and cultures. In Judeo-Christian traditions, the rainbow appears to Noah as a promise from God never to destroy the world again by means of flood waters.

According to an article on the colorpsychology.org website, some Native American Tribes believed that rainbows were the bridge between the spiritual and human world. Many cultures believe that rainbows represented a sign of luck or goodness from the gods.

Honestly, when I saw the rainbow from the docks of New Fairfield Town Park, I felt that it meant 'something' but I just seem to put my finger on 'what' that something was.
