It looks like the wait is over beginning June 17 at most Bow Tie Cinemas in Connecticut, according to an article on the CTinsider website, and better yet, you can reserve your seat seven days in advance. Yes, you will be required to wear face-covering into the theatre and in common areas, but it can be removed once you're in your seat.

So what's up with the AMC Danbury 16 theatres? CNN Business published an article on its website on June 3 with the headline, 'AMC Theatres Has 'Substantial Doubt' It Can Remain In Business.' mainly because AMC had lost between $2.1 to $2.4 billion in the first quarter. The cinema chain will open 1,000 theatres around the globe next month with the understanding that "many things could change between now and the middle of July." AMC CEO, Adam Aron added,

We are confident we are taking the necessary steps on a broad array of fronts to ensure AMC's future success as we navigate these turbulent and uncertain times.

As of June 12, 2020, the date of this article, there is no reason to believe that AMC Theatres will be shutting its doors for good.
