Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck on Route 25 in Brookfield
UPDATE: The BPD says that the pedestrian has passed away, but the person's identity is not being released at this time. This is a developing story and we'll be sure to keep you updated as the reports roll in.
There is a road closure on Route 25 in Brookfield this morning (October 19.) Brookfield Police have alerted us that the road is closed between Farview Road and Rabbit Lane due to an accident.
According to WFSB, one person has been hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle.
Police expect the investigation and cleanup to last for several hours, so you will need to take an alternate route to get around Brookfield this morning. You will eventually get to your destination via the back roads, but allow a few extra minutes to get around.
