Police Release Footage of Intense Gunpoint Robbery in Connecticut
In an effort to track down the alleged robber, the Bridgeport Police have released a stunning video of an armed robbery at a Little Caesars on North Avenue.
You don't usually see surveillance video that captures an armed robbery in progress, but Bridgeport Police have released this video in an attempt to capture the assailant who robbed a Little Caesars Pizza Restaurant and stole cash from the register.
According to patch.com, Bridgeport Police are looking for anyone who thinks they may know the lone robber, who was armed with a silver handgun. He's also seen in the video pointing his weapon at customers sitting and waiting inside the store. Then, he turned the gun on store employees, forcing them to fill plastic bags with cash from the register.
Police are not reporting that anyone was injured in the robbery.
If you have any information that could assist police in their investigation, you can contact the Bridgeport Police Robbery Squad and contact Robbery Detective Vincent Lariccia at 203-581-5229, by e-mail at Vincent.lariccia@bridgeportct.gov or through the Bridgeport Police Tip Line at (203) 576-TIPS (8477).
