Police Arrest Teen in String of Car Thefts in Woodbury and Bethlehem
State Police say they have found their man, and he happens to be a juvenile.
Woodbury Resident State Troopers sent out a press release stating that a 16-year-old male has been arrested after an investigation of stolen vehicles and cars that had been broken into in the early morning hours of May 24, 2018 in the towns of Woodbury and Bethlehem. As the investigation was progressing, all signs seemed to turn to one particular teen who already had an arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in court on 12 felony charges.
When police arrived at the suspect's home, they found a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was allegedly stolen. When the suspect saw police he allegedly ran. Police had to deploy a Taser to stop the suspect and bring him into custody. He is being held at Troop L-Litchfield on $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court today.
