New Haven CT Will Welcome Nancy Pelosi Saturday

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi will speak at an event at Gateway Community College this Saturday alongside Rosa Delauro according to the CT Post.. The two will be discussing equal pay and the event starts at 9:30 am.

The discussion will likely center around the Paycheck Fairness Act introduced by Delauro and passed by the House in March. The Republican-majority Senate has yet to call it for a vote. This will be Pelosi's second appearance in the Nutmeg State in the last three months.

Predictions: 

• Pelosi will make faces. These faces will make anyone looking at her uncomfortable.
• She will receive gratuitous applause for making extremely obvious observations and or statements.
• There will be suit pants and blazers as far as the eye can see.
• Absolutely no one attending goes for drinks and a lay afterwards.
• DJ Khaled isn't going.
• The door to hell will swing open behind her, briefly, only to slam shut seconds later.
• There will be a flurry of obnoxious hashtags to follow.
