We're big fans of Polar seltzers in the Large Dave household. The zero-calorie fizzy, flavored seltzers are always available in our fridge. Polar Beverages are a New England staple, they've been manufacturing and selling bottled beverages for almost 140 years, since 1882, right in nearby Worcester, Massachusetts. I wrote an article recently about Polar having recently releasing their 100th flavor of their famous seltzers, appropriately named No. 100. Every year, Polar releases limited-edition, seasonal flavors, and the Summer 2021 Polar seltzer flavors have just been announced by the company.

So, coming your way to the beverage aisle of you favorite market any day now for the Summer of 2021, Polar has announced that there will be 3 new flavored seltzers, and two returning classic favorites in this lineup:

  • Watermelon Mojito
  • Pink Summer Iced Tea
  • Tropical Cherry
  • Blackberry Mango Punch
  • Strawberry Margarita

The Strawberry Margarita and Blackberry Mango Punch flavors are coming around for another go. Watermelon Mojito, Tropical Cherry, and Pink Summer Iced Tea are new flavors 101-103 for Polar Beverages.

I've noticed that the limited edition seltzers from Polar have typically have an alcohol-related tie-in. The Summer 2021 round features a take on both a Mojito, and a Margarita, and I want to suggest that you don't try to add the alcohol to make them hard-seltzers, it's typically awful. Home Hard Claws are not worth the effort, buy the real thing. The two flavors that do sound good to me on this round are the simple ones - Tropical Cherry, and the Pink Summer Iced Tea. Mrs. Large and I didn't really care for No. 100's taste, but we're looking forward to trying 101, 102, and 103 when they arrive here in Connecticut. Keep your eyes open at your local supermarket, these new Summer 2021 Polar Limited-Edition Seltzers are shipping right now.

LOOK: The most famous actress born the same year as you

Many of the actresses in this story not only made a name for themselves through their collection of iconic performances, but also through the selfless, philanthropic nature with which many of them approached their stardom. In an age of flipping the script on societal norms, many of these actresses are using their voices and platforms to be advocates for those who are otherwise unheard.
