The Congregational Church of New Canaan has switched to online virtual church services to abide by COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.

Senior minister, Rev. Stephen Chapin Garner told the Daily Voice that switching to virtual technology opens up a whole new world of possibilities of not only connecting with the community but also joining with church-goers from all over the world.

The Reverend is also able to virtually host their customary youth groups, bible study, and team meetings. Garner went on to say:

The church is also in the process of creating a "Church Family Video Scrapbook" and as Holy Week approaches, I assumed I would be feeling the loss of Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter. Only days away from our holiest season of the year, gratitude, and even a degree of joy fill my spirit.
