Reckless Driving Charges Against McMahon May Be Dismissed
Vince McMahon has just learned his punishment after appearing before a Judge in Stamford Superior Court today, and the national media is already calling the result 'A slap on the wrist'.

Earlier this Summer on July 24, McMahon was driving his beautiful 2024 Bentley Northbound on the Merritt Parkway in Westport when he allegedly crashed into a BMW while recklessly driving at 80-90MPH. Debris from the accident flew over to the Southbound side which damaged two other vehicles. Luckily, McMahon and the drivers of the other vehicles escaped serious injury. McMahon was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving, and following too closely, and given an October 16, 2025 court date.
As we all know, driving on the Merritt Parkway through Fairfield County is not for amateurs or the faint of heart, but you will be a little safer from one of Connecticut's most famous men over the next year.
According to espn.com, McMahon was granted access into Connecticut's Accelerated Pretrial Rehabilitation program at today's appearance. The conditions of his acceptance into the program were: Make a $1,000 charitable contribution, and drive vehicles while properly licensed and insured for a year. If McMahon keeps his insurance and doesn't get pulled over for any reason over the next year, the charges will be dismissed.
Connecticut's Accelerated Pretrial Rehabilitation Program excludes those who are facing felony charges, a crime or motor vehicle violation that caused the death of another person, or a motor vehicle violation with a commercial vehicle or license.
