NFL Teams Paired With Disney Characters In New Champion Collection

According to SI.com, Disney, the NFL and Champion have teamed up for a new clothing collection that gives every NFL team its own Disney, Pixar, Marvel or Star Wars character. Basically, somebody at Disney decided that every NFL fan needs to know which cartoon, superhero or intergalactic villain best represents their team.

And since the Patriots are essentially Connecticut's NFL team, I feel like we have to take a look at what Disney thinks about our team.

The Patriots got Captain America, which honestly feels pretty on-brand. You've got the patriotism, the history and the whole "we're probably going to find a way to make this annoying for everyone else" thing. Disney says the pairing represents heritage, heroism and leadership.

Now let's talk about our New York friends. The Jets got Buzz Lightyear, which makes sense because of the team's aviation history. Buzz flies, the Jets fly... theoretically. I'll leave it there.

The Giants got Wreck-It Ralph, which Disney says represents strength and a big personality balanced with heart. That's actually a pretty solid choice for Big Blue.

But I have to talk about my team, the Las Vegas Raiders, because we absolutely won this thing. The Raiders got Darth Vader.

Come on. That's awesome.

The Raiders are my team, and I must say that Darth Vader is such an obvious combination that I'm actually surprised somebody didn't think of it years ago. Black uniforms, intimidation, questionable morality and a tendency to make opposing fans uncomfortable? Yeah, I can see it.
