March Madness used to rock…SUX NOW

March Madness is coming!  Yes and yes, cannot wait…. oh wait…yes I can.  Guess what, the tournament sucks now.  The players in the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament that are worth watching are freshman. 

These freshmen, under the one and done rule can leave for the NBA after their freshman year.  This has watered down the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament and the incoming NBA rookie class.  Remember these guys?  Can you name them?  I bet if you are a sports fan, you can.  This is 3 of the 5 of the Fab Five.  From left to right:  Juwan Howard, Jalen Rose and Chris Webber and the other two guys were Jimmy King and Ray Jackson.  I remember because college basketball used to be nationally relevant.  Yes, this was 20 years ago and I remember.  OK, they were my favorite team but I remember the members of their rivals too.  The Duke Blue Devils; Grant Hill, Thomas Hill, Bobby Hurley, Christian Laettner.  What about the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels?  Larry Johnson and Stacey Augmon?  I feel like Tim Duncan was the last 4-year player at Wake Forest.  I used to love the tournament.  I DON’T care anymore!  No teams, no characters, no one to gets emotionally involved in it.  Sports are the MAN version of the soap opera and college basketball needs to be cancelled!
